The solo project of Byron region female artist, GIMMY (pronounced "gimmie") brings a diverse flavour to the table with sways of surf-garage, indie-rock and glimpses of folk. Alongside her band consisting of Samson Radici (guitar), Michael Bradborn (bass) and Barclay Israel (drums), GIMMY delivers a raw authentic sound with heavily lyrical songwriting and vibrato vocals that captivates crowds with a charismatic stage performance. “My music is a representation of my raw expression in all its diverse forms. It allows all the different shades of my inner world to be expressed into the outer world. My songs are representations of messages to myself and my thought processes toward different worldly topics.” In the short space of her career, Gimmy has had recognition from Triple J and Rage selecting her newest single “SWEAT (An Australian Summer)” RAGE “Wild One”. GIMMY has been scaling the east coast sharing the stage with some of Australia’s hottest upcoming artist with the likes of The Murlocs, Bad Dreams, Floodlights, Maple Glider, Nice Biscuit and more. As well as winning hearts at Brisbane's Bigsound, GIMMY took the main stage at Splendour In The Grass 2023 through the winning of “Triple J Unearthed” competition as well as the Triple J Unearthed Feature Artist.
