terms of service

second press (ABN 92 553 169 137) operates this service. by creating an account or using second press, you agree to these terms of service. if you do not agree, do not use the service. these terms are governed by the laws of new south wales, australia.

second press is a curated music streaming platform. premium subscription gives full track access. we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

• you must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• you must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• one account per person. account sharing is not permitted.

• premium subscriptions are billed monthly at the current rate.
• payments are processed by stripe. we do not store your payment card details.
• you may cancel your subscription at any time. access continues until the end of your billing period.
• we may change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice.

nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantees under the australian consumer law that cannot be excluded by law.

you agree not to:

• download, rip, or redistribute any music from second press
• use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers)
• circumvent any access controls or usage limits
• upload offensive, illegal, or infringing content to your profile or playlists
• harass, impersonate, or mislead other users
• use the service for any unlawful purpose

you may create playlists, set a display name, upload a profile photo, and write a bio. you retain ownership of content you create but grant us a licence to display it within the service. we may remove content that violates these terms or is reported as objectionable.

all music on second press is licensed from artists and labels. you do not acquire any ownership rights to the music. the second press name, logo, and platform design are our property.

you may delete your account at any time from the settings page. account deletion will remove your profile, playlists, and listening history. if you have an active subscription, it will be cancelled. some data may be retained as required by law (e.g., financial records).

we may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. you may also terminate your account at any time by deleting it.

to the maximum extent permitted by law, second press is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. this does not affect your rights under the australian consumer law.

we may update these terms from time to time. continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. we will notify you of material changes via email.
