the burning limos
Working out of a converted trailer park laundromat on the edge of Indianapolis, The Burning Limos built a sound that balances melody with muscle—gritty, energetic, and immediate. Over a decade, anchored by three core members and a rotating cast of fourth Limos, the band wrote and recorded a catalog that moved between hook-laden indie rock and straight-up punk. Much of their material remained unreleased, including studio sessions produced with Zero Boys’ Paul Mahern (Iggy Pop, The Afghan Whigs), home demos, live recordings, and a one-day session at the legendary Midwest all-ages club The No Bar & Grill. Now, those long-unreleased recordings are finally making their way into the world, beginning with There Will Be Bleed: The No Bar Session. Additional EPs and a full-length album will follow. Remixed in part by producer Matt Wallace (The Replacements, Faith No More), the recordings bring the band’s power into clearer focus. They capture a group operating with both ambition and identity—qualities that remain intact decades later.
